tatanai : stand+not
tachimasu : (polite)
tatsu : (plain)
tatsutoki : stand+when
tateba : stand+ if
tate : (imperative)

tatsu darou : will stand
tatteiru : be+standing
tatta : stood

ni : on, to , in
michi : street, road, way

Watashi wa michi ni tatteiru. : I, street on, standing : I'm standing on the street.
