a difference between nansai and ikutsu or are they interchangeble?

Nansai is actually used when you want to ask someone their age, basically: nansai = how old?
Ikutsu is used when you're couting things or/and when you want to know how many ex. cookies there are. So ikutsu = how much/many?
It's interesting to read.. It inspires the readers who have that great desire to lead a better and happier life. Thanks for sharing your website. This blogs are very informative. I really say thanks to you.
Great breakdown of how to say these. However, one would NEVER use "anata" like this. It's rude especially when speaking to people you don't know. You would use the name+san. OR, if you didn't know it, you would just say "oikutsu desu ka"?
